Kiangombe is very fertile for agricultural production and therefore was very viable for the factory, which was constructed and opened for processing in 1998. The peaks of snow-capped, famous Mt. Kenya are very visible and gives the area good scenery.
The fermentation is done with fresh river water from the Mukengeria River, and then the coffee is sundried on raised beds.
